Chalk ataman
The chalk ataman is pure white, has an average density, but in between there are often hard pieces. The chalk ataman is covered with chalk dust and feels rough. It splits easily and crunches loudly. The structure contains great, soft, long lasting grains. The chalk ataman looks like a shortcrust biscuit. Not greasy, but not dry either, something in between – Golden middle. Whitewash-chalky aroma. When wet, it smells lingering of moisture, Earth, Basement and wet concrete.
